Personal Growth
I’ve worked with children and young adults together with their families for a cumulative 10 years. My work has trained me to play by ear, work with what I have, and value the significance of being seen, heard, and respected. Personal challenges have made me open to all experiences humanity has to offer. I am constantly on a quest for learning new things and looking at human existence with wonder.
I aspire to be a counsellor that sees, hears, and respects you as you find your way to growth and self-discovery. As someone who appreciates the complexities and often contradictory nature of life, I employ an Existential Humanistic view, along with an Emotion Focused lens which emphasises the innate human need to feel safe and relate with others. I am interested in how people experience and make sense of the world from childhood into adulthood, as well as how the mind is so intricately intertwined with the physical body.
Life is a complicated journey filled with unexpected joys and sorrows, yet we don’t have to do it alone.
