My interest in psychology originated from my struggles as a teenager facing the world with many expectations and uncertainty. While facing those struggles, I’ve always been drawn to the stories of the people I came across. I believe that the way we translate our experiences to personal stories shape how we understand ourselves and navigate the world around us. This belief fueled my aspiration to be a clinical psychologist, as I want to understand the stories of those facing mental health struggles and support them in overcoming these adversities.
With a master’s degree in affective disorders, I have specialized knowledge of the complexities of depression, bipolar and anxiety related disorders. Additionally, having worked in mental health and human resource settings has provided me with an expanded perspective on mental health. With that, I aim to utilize my knowledge and experience to empower you on your mental health journey and to author your personal story.
As your therapist, my goal is to provide you with a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to explore your beliefs, thoughts and emotions. The journey towards self-discovery, healing and resilience will not be easy, but rest assured you do not need to face it alone.
