My journey into psychology began with curiosity, which gradually grew into a passion. From interning at Hospital Sentosa Kuching to working with UNHCR, and now pursuing my Masters in Clinical Psychology, the path has been far from smooth.
During a particularly challenging time in my life, I came across the quote, "One day you will." It resonated with me, offering the comfort and hope I didn’t know I needed. I believe it’s okay not to be okay, because at the end of the day, we’re all human—imperfect, learning, and growing through life’s ups and downs.
In therapy, I strive to create a space where we can both be honest and vulnerable, just two human beings sitting together, genuinely working through life’s challenges without judgment. As Dr. Brené Brown says, “Staying vulnerable is a risk we have to take if we want to experience connection,” and I believe this is essential for meaningful therapy.
Whether through my quiet, full presence in the therapy room or my active engagement in understanding your situation, I see my role not just as providing guidance but as walking alongside you on your journey.
One day, I hope to remind you, “one day, you will.” Until then, I’ll be here with you as you find your own strength and healing. I look forward to learning and growing with you as we work together.
